ART & BIKE SHOW
Crowds were bigger than ever and we brought our biggest presence yet to meet them. Art mixed with custom motorcycles as huge backdrops brought spectators fully into the experience. A race bike in front of a painted illusion made it look like the bike was coming straight at you. Top-level choppers from some of the greatest builders in the world sat next to accomplished machines from Super Hooligan and King of the Baggers racing, custom RSD machines, boogie vans, and more. A hot pink chopper was made to look like a scale model with a 6-foot long tube of super glue nearby. Famous surfboard shaper and artist Peter Schroff brought out a wild board sculpture with V-8 exhaust pipes, a computer, a satellite dish, and a fish tank built into it. And all of this art, is surrounded by an incredibly diverse and high-quality selection of custom motorcycles. From LiveWire to long bike, sculpture to live art, there was something for everything.

RUSS BROWN MOTORCYCLE ATTORNEYS VENDOR VILLAGE
As always, Moto Beach couldn’t happen without support from our incredible vendors, and who doesn’t love a chance to come out and experience your favorite brands in person? BMW, Yamaha, LiveWire, Royal Enfield, Indian Motorcycles, Dunlop, MOTUL and Polaris RZR, all had their latest models out on display. Bell Helmets was slingin’ lids and giving out tattoos in their booth. Super73 and Stacyc brought out their eBikes. MotoDoffo was there with some of the incredible motorcycles in their collection and of course, wine. Russ Brown Motorcycle Attorneys, R3Di, Deus, and many more were there getting facetime with SoCal locals.
SUPER HOOLIGAN FLAT TRACK RACING
The Mission Foods Moto Beach Classic kicked off around 1pm with the Dunlop Dash for Cash race, followed by a crowd favorite: the Stacyc Kids’ Ebike races, spinning laps on the dirt oval. The Support Class raced before Super73’s main race, which then led into the Super Hooligan mains.
The main class was stacked with incredibly talented racers from different avenues of motorcycling, all spittin dirt and bangin’ bars for bragging rights. This was a standalone event, not part of the Super Hooligan series, so once the 20-lap race was over—that was it. In the end, old timers showed the young guns how it’s done with all three podium positions held by riders of the age of 55. Sam Cover took third place, Tony Alves took second, and Brad Spencer won the day.

RED BULL STRAIGHT RHYTHM
Only moments after flat track trophies were awarded, the National Anthem began and Red Bull Straight Rhythm was starting. A track made up of drops, motocross whoops, and jumps stretches a half-mile down the beach. 32 riders on 2-strokes raced head-to-head, two at a time down the track. It’s not about outright top speed, but finding the rhythm, scrubbing jumps to get back on that rear-wheel power and quickly as possible, and being the first to cross the finish line. The 250cc Class was the main event with Marvin Musquin and Ken Roczen battling it out for the title. Roczen had been leading through qualifiers all day, but light rain hit just in time to change up the course for the final race. With Roczen off to a rocky start, Musquin had a perfect run and clenched the victory.
Races wrapped up as the rain continued and put a natural cap to an absolutely spectacular day. A huge thanks to our main sponsors, Mission Foods, Dunlop, Geico, Motul, and Indian Motorcycle.

The inaugural Moto Beach Classic started out as a wild idea from Roland Sands and crew in 2017 and has developed into a Southern California motorcycle cultural explosion. From massive concerts to short track racing on the sand in Huntington Beach, the MBC has always delivered the unexpected in the heart of Southern California surf culture.
This year's event brings a massive new partnership with our friends from Red Bull and their iconic Red Bull Straight Rhythm Race, for a one-day, jam-packed, moto-centric event with a projected attendance of 20,000 moto fans, at Huntington State Beach.

The Moto Beach Classic will anchor the cultural side of the day with Super Hooligan National Championship racing and over 100 riders doing battle on a dirt short track built on the sand. Key attractions also include a custom bike show, vendors, art, food, and drinks, all moto centric and all Surfside.
This one-day event will include the best motocross riders on the planet, battling side by side for Straight Rhythm glory on a specially-built dirt motocross track featuring full-size supercross jumps and no turns, parallel to Pacific Coast Highway, alongside the hospitality and perks expected of Red Bull signature events.

ARCHITECTS OF INSPIRATION ART SHOW
The Architects of Inspiration will be a centerpiece of the Moto Beach Classic event. A curated collection of unique installations inspired by moto and surf culture. Initially structured to solely be an art collective, the Architects of Inspiration has grown to be a larger platform that included more creatives, such as live muralist painters and local music gurus. This year, the Architects of Inspiration Art Show will take place on the sand between the Super Hooligan Dirt Track and the Moto Classic Custom Bike Show.
SUPER HOOLIGAN FLAT TRACK RACING
As with any RSD event, the main focus is on motorcycle racing. The Moto Beach Classic serves as the season finale for AMA Super Hooligan National Championship and also offers anyone a chance to race on the short track built on the sand. Past classes include Run What Ya Brung, Desert MX Open, Vintage Air Cooled, Mad Dog Mini and more, offering a ton of fun, regardless of which side of the handlebars you are on.
