What is Moto Beach Classic?
Brought to you by industry icon Roland Sands and the RSD team, the Moto Beach Classic combines various elements, including live concerts and short-track motorcycle racing on the sandy beaches of Bolsa Chica in Huntington Beach, Ca. This fusion of motorcycle lifestyle and the vibrant surf scene in Southern California creates a unique and thrilling experience for participants and attendees, unlike any other event. Expect over 100 riders doing battle on an asphalt short track. Key attractions also include a custom bike show, vendors, art, food, and drinks, all moto-centric and all surfside.
How do I buy tickets?
This year's event is free to the public. Moto Beach Classic is selling a limited number of VIP Tickets and will be available for purchase soon.
What is included in the VIP ticket?
The VIP experience at Moto Beach Classic has exclusive access to the heart of the racing action, killer vibes, and rubbing elbows with fellow riders and racing legends. While the event is free to the public, the exclusive VIP area will feature Grand Stand seating with an unobstructed view of the SHNC racing action, a VIP bar, and VIP restrooms. VIP tickets will also get you access to the Race Pits with a signed waiver. VIP credentials will be picked up during the event, please bring identification that matches your order name to the Southside of the racetrack just North of Sea Legs at the VIP Check In area. Children 5 and under are free with the purchase of an adult VIP credential.

Where do I park for Moto Beach Classic?
You can enter any Huntington State Beach Main Gates, however there is limited parking at the beach. The State Beach collects $15.00 for day use parking.
Shared Rides:
Due to limited beach parking, we recommend Uber, Lyft, or any other type of driver service, especially if you plan on drinking any alcoholic beverages. Drop off on PCH & Warner in the roundabout and walk South down the boardwalk to the Event.
What are the hours of the event?
The event kicks off at 10:00am with racing, vendor village, demo’s, art & bike show. All racing and activations end at 6pm, but the live music, trophy presentations and party continues to rock until 11pm at SeaLegs. Check the main page the week of the event for the schedule.
What are the hours of Huntington State Beach?
Entrance to the State Beach opens at 6am and the gates close at 9pm. Moto Beach Classic will be featuring a special late night After Party presented by Buell Motorcycles until 11pm at SeaLegs!
Is this a Family Friendly event?
Come one, come all. Family and kid friendly for sure. Plan for a day at the beach and set up a zone in the sand for your family. Have your kids bring bikes/scooters for the long walk to the car and back. Bring sand toys and a cooler in a wagon! Kids e-bike demo’s go all day in vendor village. If your kids race e-bikes, register them to race at the Moto Beach Classic on the big track.
Is there food and drink available on-site?
Food vendors and concessions will be available for purchase on-site. Alcohol for legal adults 21+ will be available at select locations throughout the venue.
What can I bring to make my day at Moto Beach Classic even better?
The event takes place at the beach and the sand is totally open for standard beach activities. Bring your wagon full of beach chairs, coolers, beach games and umbrellas so you can create a home base at the beach while taking in all of moto madness Moto Beach Classic offers.
What is not allowed at Moto Beach Classic?
You cannot bring into the festival area outside alcohol or food, illegal substances, weapons, or MC club colors (patches or shirts).
Can I leave and come back in?
Moto Beach Classic is free and open to the public, stay and play all day or come back and forth – up to you!
Is Camping Available?
Unfortunately, all camp/RV sites at Bolsa Chica State are sold out. Day use RV’s/Campers are allowed, the State Beach charges $30 for day-use parking, 40’ max trailer size. There are also many hotel options in the area.
Is the venue ADA accessible?
Yes, the venue is ADA accessible.
Can I bring in a camera or Go Pro?
Photos and videos may be taken and shared on social media to your own social channels. To get involved in the conversation, use #motobeachclassic and #RedBullStraightRhythm. Professional photography and videography is not permitted without a media credential.
Can I fly a Drone over the festival?
NO public drones are allowed over the festival.
Will seating be available at the event?
VIP area will have grandstand seating. There is no general open seating.
How do I become a Vendor?
If motorcycles, surfing, racing and art are elements that speak to your type of customers, you belong at the Moto Beach Classic Vendor Village. Registration to be open in July.
How do I register to race and what classes are available?
Red Bull Straight Rhythm Supercross race positions are filled and not taking any additional riders. The Moto Beach Classic serves as the main Super Hooligan Dirt Flat Track race of the season and offers anyone a chance to race on the short track built on the sand in numerous additional classes. Classes include Super Hooligan, Amateur Hooligan, Ladies Hooligan, Run What Ya Brung, Desert MX Open, Vintage Air Cooled, and Mad Dog Mini. Registration to be open in July.
Can I participate in the Custom Bike Show?
We have limited spots available in our Moto Classic Custom Bike Show where motorcycles will range from mild resto-mods to wild choppers, scramblers, flat trackers, café racers and purpose-built race bikes in all makes. If you would like to participate in the show, email images of your custom motorcycle and your builder bio to info@rolandsands.com to be considered for entrance into the show.
